Real Wedding :: Michelle & Adam's Bike Themed Bash

The wedding for this amazing #callunacouple took place at Rembrandt Yard in downtown Boulder and we adored every minute of it. Michelle has been working for Calluna for several years, so this celebration held a special place in our hearts. “When you are an event planner who loves a good theme party and you marry an avid cyclist that worked at a bike shop – you start planning #tourdegaluszka. As an event planner for over 10 years and working at Calluna for almost three years, you know a thing or two about planning a party. However, that doesn’t make it any easier once it is time to plan your dream wedding.

When Adam proposed we immediately knew that we wanted to bring our friends and family to Colorado, the place we call home. I couldn’t imagine my big day without the Flatirons in background and getting to share our favorite spots throughout Boulder. I quickly decided on a church and venue that were in the heart of downtown. Selecting the rest of my vendors happened very quickly. I knew the florist and photographer who could best capture our personalities and come along for our ride. I also knew I needed help! I worked with the Calluna team to bring my day to life so I could turn off my planner brain the day of our wedding and truly get the bridal experience.

From there the bikes took over! Wheels holding our escort cards, to bike centerpieces and of course bike horns to make us kiss throughout the night – those would haunt us throughout the weekend. In the end, we were able to bring guests together from all over and give them a taste of what we love – including Sweet Cow!”
