5 Tips for Planning the Perfect Bachelorette Party
- Keep the focus on the bride: After all, this party is all about her! Make sure you understand what her vision is for her wild night out or relaxing day at the spa. The bride-to-be doesn’t need to be involved in every detail, but every detail should be tailored to fit her personality and preferences.
- Choose the right location: If most attendees are local, plan for a convenient location within driving distance to ensure that more people will be able to attend. If people are scattered all over and will need to fly anyways it could be better to go with a more exotic location.
- Keep it budget friendly: Between food, drinks, decorations, and whatever other elements you choose, there is no doubt that bachelorette parties can add up quick! It is important to understand what people are willing to spend and to try to stick to that budget as well as you can.
- Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box: A bachelorette party doesn’t need to be what you see in the movies. Search for inspiration that breaks traditional expectations and makes the party unique to the bride. We loved this list from the Venue Report on some exciting destination ideas!
- Find a fun way to incorporate the significant other: Whether it be a quick video or love letter from him to kick off the night or a wild “How Well Do You Know Him” game, finding a way to involve the brides partner in the bachelorette party adds a special element to the festivities.
