We are over the moon to share that we planned Governor Jared Polis and First Gentleman Marlon Reis’ wedding which took place in Boulder, Colorado! It was a historic, truly momentous, and very moving occasion where friends and family witnessed the marriage of this extraordinary couple on the 18th anniversary of their first date! We can’t help but reflect on the history this couple keeps making together; and that we were a small part of that history yesterday is overwhelming!
The Governor and First Gentleman are vegan and huge fans of Chef Chloe Coscarelli. Chloe came from New York to cook their wedding luncheon using all plant-based and local ingredients such as Palisade peaches. We wanted to weave elements of Colorado and their passions into the day so all of the flowers were Colorado-grown, the tables were named after Colorado animals (First Gentleman is an animal rights activist) and were hand-illustrated by Lana’s Shop, the wines were from Colorado wineries, the food for the rehearsal dinner was from local farms, and many more personal touches were woven into the ceremony, food, music and more!
Working with the Governor and First Gentleman has been an absolute honor and a highlight of our career. Our hearts are so full of the love, stories, toasts, and community we were a part of throughout the planning and also very much felt during their wedding. We love you both and wish you all the joy and happiness for many more years to come!
