We were thrilled to be a part of Katy and Zach’s drop-dead-gorgeous wedding! Katy and Zach are so in love that trying to explain the joy and happiness emanating from these two simply does not do their love justice. Katy’s vision for the day came to life at Blanc in the RINO district of Denver – a perfect space to blend innovation and creativity.
There were so many of our favorite local vendors who came together to collaborate to make it a perfect day. Lale Florals was one of the first vendors we hired. We worked with Stephanie to help conceptulize and design a vision around bring the beauty of the outodoors into the urban space that is Blanc. Steph is a creative genius and her designs amaze and inspire and Katy & Zach’s wedding was a blank canvas for her to work in a space and create never-beeen seen before hanging florals and thoroughly original floral installations. The bridesmaids were in marsala colored dresses and each carried a sligthly differnt gorgeously bouquet. Katy’s bridal bouqet was a showstopper of florals, greenery and hanging greens. Eclectic Hive – one of Denver’s best decor and design studios – brought in a bit of whimsy and magic to the stark urban setting, including vingettes, bars and one of our favorite pieces – the bed swing! Our groom, Zach, a serious food connoisseur, who has worked in the food world in Denver. He wanted somethign that was completely outside of the box, really yummy but not fussy. We worked with Catering by Design to create an innovative menu of gormet comfort food. The menu was made extra special by Zach’s personal love of donuts… in fact, VooDoo Donuts joined us as a new vendor we are happy to add to our list of friends. We were also delighted to work with Fidelis Films, videographers from Florida. And finally, we were overjoyed to once again work with one of our favorite photographers in all of Colorado, James Christianson, who created priceless photographic memories for our bride and groom. We hope you enjoy this magical day as much as we do! xx, Calluna
