Meet Elyssa:
Elyssa Hoffman is a recent University of Colorado Boulder graduate who loves all of the nitty-gritty details that go into making an event special! With a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication, Elyssa became passionate for design and the event planning process. Elyssa grew up outside of Boston and is now spending time with her family who moved to the Bay Area in California four years ago. Elyssa’s favorite part of the wedding day is watching the Groom’s reaction when he sees his Bride for the first time. Her inspiration for this special moment – Katherine Higel and James Marsden’s characters in the movie 27 Dresses!
Favorite part of the wedding day: My favorite part of the wedding day has to be watching the groom’s reaction when he sees his bride for the first time! It is such a special moment that will be forever remembered!
Favorite wedding reception song: This was easy – Bon Jovi’s Livin’ On A Prayer!
Least loved wedding day trend: I love listening to family and friends speeches, but keeping them to a minimum is best!
Trend you’d like to see more of: Including as much personalization from the couple throughout that reflects their unique styles and personalities!
On the weekend you can find me: You will always find me outside soaking up the sun or out on the town with family and friends!
Favorite cocktail: Definitely a glass of Pinot noir
Beach or mountains: I love both too much, so it’s a tie!
Early bird or night owl: Night Owl
Sweet or salty: Sweet, but sometimes salty!
Dream vacation: Santorini or Amalfi Coast
Go to coffee order: Not a big coffee drinker! But, sometimes an Iced Chai Latte from Starbucks!
Favorite Social Channel: Instagram is for sure my go to!
Favorite movie: 27 Dresses has always been one of my favorites, but I also can always watch Wolf of Wall Street!
Guilty pleasure: Rearranging and decorating spaces – always adding something new to my room!
Pet peeve: People walking on the wrong side of the sidewalk.
Favorite restaurant in Boulder: I can never get enough of Pizzeria Locale and Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar!
