The Calluna Crew had a very busy weekend this past weekend. We found ourselves right smack dab in the middle of our busiest part of the season, and of course, loving every minute of it! Especially because we were able to watch two Calluna couple’s tie the knot. And with that, comes weddings where we are able to connect and collaborate with some of our all time favorite vendors and work tirelessly to bring the bride + grooms vision to life!
This last Sunday we watched Sam + Brandon say there forever vows at the one and only Planet Bluegrass! We were able to work with some of the best of the best in the industry to create something truly spectacular at such a gorgeous venue! Plum Sage Flowers provided all the floral prettiness and the beautiful huppah where Sam + Brandon made their love official! Plum Sage outdid themselves, as always, and brought a bright colorful palette to the plate which only made the venue and all its beauty pop that much more!
Eclectic Hive brought in seating vignettes and a teepee with a bright cozy lounge area inside that tied the entire look together. These seating vignettes created spaces for guests to sit down, relax, and soak in the beauty surrounding them!
As guests made their way to the ceremony site they were greeted by Aikopops who provided the MOST delicious and refreshing popsicles we have ever tasted! It was the perfect way to cool down the guests before they made their way to their seats to watch Sam + Brandon tie the knot! The band Gypsy Moon played their sweet sounding music for guests before, during, and after the ceremony, setting the vibe with the most perfect background music!
After the ceremony, the Blackberry Catering team was there with their amazing fresh farm to table food and wonderful staff who work so hard to make everything come full circle! Blackberry never disappoints with their gourmet, decadent food that has everyone wishing they had more room to eat! But guests knew they had to leave room for the amazing cake and all the wonderful desserts that Jen from Lucky’s Bakehouse provided. Which included, among many other types of desserts, homemade graham crackers for the s’more bar! Yum!
The band Assembly of Dust started right on time and had everyone up and out of their seats dancing the night away! It was a beautiful celebration for Sam + Brandon and one that we will surely never forget! We simply cannot wait to see all the amazing images captured by Merrick Chase of Apres Wedding Photography, but until then, check out some of the images we snapped with our iPhones!

Brooke + Sam had such a sweet and wonderful vision for their wedding at Planet Bluegrass this last Saturday! They truly were a wonderful couple to work with and we had the pleasure in helping bring their vision to life. An outdoor wedding in June in Colorado can sometimes be a little tricky to pull off. The weather is always changing and we often get small afternoon thunderstorm. With intense clouds hovering by, we managed to dodge the storm and the sun shone down on the beautiful couple!
The bride was picture perfect in her gorgeous dress, accompanied by a floral hair piece and incredible bouquet from Lale Florals. The bridesmaids wore different color dresses and were given bouquets to match.
The ceremony site was located next to the creek where guests could listen to the sounds of running water as Sam + Brooke said their vows beneath the birch tree Huppah that Lale decorated with bright and vibrant florals. One of the more incredible moments was when the clouds parted and sun shone through during the ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests mingled to the cocktail hour and enjoyed passed appetizers from A Spice of Life. When the cocktail hour commenced, guests were asked to find a seat beneath the trees at beautiful long tables decorated with fresh fruit and florals from Lale. Guests dined family style al fresco. The party then moved into the pavilion where guests enjoyed music from the eclectic and upbeat Mammarazzi Band! Another memorable moment of the night was when a groomsman joined the band onstage to partake in a song!
