Kyle Hodge – Owner KHodge Films

I’m a cinematographer with K Hodge Films. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Heather and her staff a number of times since 2011. From a vendor’s perspective, things couldn’t be run smoother. Everyone is well informed of everything going on and any issues or bumps in the road that come up are dealt with in a professional and respectful manner. My very first time working with Heather was for a wedding that ended up taking place less than 24 hours after my first born daughter came into this world. I was ecstatic and happy and also very much not wanting to leave my wife and newborn baby girl in the hospital. I called Heather and explained the situation and she was incredibly calm with me. This could’ve gone any number of ways… especially a private phone conversation happening behind the scenes. She could have yelled, she could have cursed at me, she could have done any number of things… but Heather was as cool as a cucumber and helped figure out the situation. I ended up still shooting the wedding obviously and it ended up being one of our best films from that year. When you’re planning a wedding, all of the vendors have to be willing to work together as a team and from what I’ve seen, Heather and her team are the glue that keep everyone working together with the common goal of providing amazing service and support to the people who matter the most, the couple.
