Emma Townsend was born and raised in Colorado. She graduated from Colorado State University in 2014 and has since been working as an Event and Activities planner for a wealth management company in Westminster. Emma has always known her true passion lies in all things wedding. Her love for weddings was sparked after watching The Wedding Planner and has been growing ever since. She finds joy in making her surrounding pretty through decoration and organization. Emma is hoping to bring fresh and exciting ideas to the team while learning all she can about the wedding and event planning industry.
What is your favorite part of the wedding day?
I have so many favorite parts of the day it’s hard to choose just one! The dad walking the bride down the isle, the first time the husband looks at his wife, the first dance… not to mention the cake!
Tell us something that might surprise us about you?
Something that may be surprising about me is that I’m a complete home body! I would rather stay in and watch a fun rom com than go out!
What wedding trends are you loving this season?
This season I’m loving the emphasis on greenery! Using more greenery with pops of flowers feels simplistic and elegant.
What is your favorite thing to do?
My favorite thing to do: Clean! I am a bit of a neat freak and anytime I’m feeling overwhelmed, it helps me to clean and make my surroundings pretty.
Do you have a personal motto?
Everything happens for a reason. I live my life by this motto. I truly believe that if something is meant to be, it will happen. Or if it’s not the right move, it wont.
What is one piece of clothing everyone should own?
A plain white t-shirt. For either a boy or girl, you can do so many things with a white t-shirt. Dress it up or go casual!
