Describe what you do!
“Wildflower Cakes is a made to order cake studio specializing in custom cake design. We make all kinds of cakes including sweet baby birthday cakes, sculpted themed cakes, traditional wedding cakes, and cakes for any event that calls for a celebration! We take pride in using local and organic ingredients whenever possible, as well as sourcing the finest international ingredients.”
What is your idea of a dream project?
“For me a dream project is having the opportunity to create an out of the box design. Nothing makes me happier than to be asked to make something that is completely unique and tailored to a specific couple or event. Amazingly, I get to live another aspect of my dream project regularly – I work alongside absolutely fabulous and incredibly talented vendors who are passionate about their job, creative, who are just a pleasure to work and grow with! It’s both fun and challenging working with vendors who are some of the best in the industry, and I feel that it really elevates everyone’s output. I’m honored to say that I’ve developed personal friendships with many of these vendors, and we love working together to make bridal dreams come true!”
What has been your favorite cake that you have ever made?
Right now I’m really loving laser cut designs and graphic patterns. They’re fun, modern, and you can tie that theme into various details like invites, props, backdrops, and wedding cakes.
