Katherine and Paul took to the mountains for their late spring wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch and showed off the state they call home to their guests from all around the world. The couple started their weekend with an intimate rehearsal dinner for their closest family on property surrounded by 360 views of the mountains. They were able to start their weekend with love abundant and sweet memories shared. Friday was when the party really started with their disco and denim themed night! Guests were encouraged to lean into the theme and their ‘fits did not disappoint! The disco ball decor from Borrowing Bride and sparkling linens from Nuage Designs set the stage for the party that was about to take off.
After the perfect night to kick off the festivities, guests woke up to the perfect Colorado late spring day with not a cloud in site – a much better day than the rainstorms we received on Friday! Their afternoon ceremony had the perfect view of Lone Eagle Peak, a mountain of significance to the couple, so it was even more special to have it overlooking them as they started their forever. The couple decided to only have their brothers stand at the front with them and the bride’s brother Garrett took his man of honor duties serious!
To conclude the ceremony, the couple and guests were led to cocktail hour by a second line from the incredible Great Family Artists. Guests were then greeted by a stunning escort display from the infamous Knapp Design and beverage burrows to let kick the party off!
The disco party didn’t stop on Friday! As guests were welcomed into the reception, the dance floor was adorned with a cluster of disco balls and florals – a perfect blend of party and pretty! Twinkle lights and a greenery ceiling kept the space light and whimsical and truly felt like a dream. The space had pops of pink and purple all around to have a nod to the couples fun and less serious personality. After dinner, guests kept the dance floor packed with some help from the stellar band! The night didn’t stop there, the after party went well into the night where we hear there was bar dancing and many, many laughs.
