Brooke & Max live in Los Angeles and have a storied history in Aspen. Max’s family has had ties to the town for decades and it’s the place where Brooke & Max actually met and got engaged. It was only fitting they made their way back to this special place to get married at one of Aspen most iconic venues – Hotel Jerome. We’re thrilled to share a glimpse into their special weekend – where the classic glam of Hollywood met Aspen’s chic mountain charm.
They kicked off the weekend at Silver City Saloon with a western disco party! Wandering Poppy brought in a mix of disco balls, white florals, tinsel and rope lights to transform the space and give it a little disco flair!
WEDDING DAY TEXT
With sweeping views of the surrounding mountains, Brooke & Max took time to head into the mountains to share a romantic first look and personal vows before their traditional Jewish ceremony in front of their friends and family.
Dark skies threatened to rain on our parade and while a few drops fell from the skies, they cleared up just in time for Brooke to make her way down the aisle. Lines with clear acrylic chairs and a stunning all white, floral-filled Chuppah – complete with Max’s father’s tallit and a little extra glam (a chandelier for the bride) they had a heartfelt ceremony in the courtyard of Hotel Jerome.
A vintage mirror and dozens of candles made for a chic seating chart for guests to find their seats.
Brooke wanted to make sure we transformed the ballroom into a glamorous space, one reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour but still keeping its Aspen charm. With luxurious, textured white linens and hemstitched napkins on the tables, we brought in gold rimmed plates and glassware with flatware that gave the tabletop of bit of vintage flair. Hundreds of white roses, hydrangeas and orchids lined the tables while vintage inspired chandelier floated around the space.
The four-tier wedding cake was a show-stopping piece and was adorned with the same white flowers that were dripping around the room. Next to the cake, a little sculpture of the couples bernadoodle – Randy!
After guests finished their 3-course dinner, Brooke changed into this stunning Berta gown for her second look of the evening before hitting the dance floor to the sounds of the Jordan Kahn Music Company!
A huge thank you to the incredible vendor team who brought this special day to life for Brooke & Max:
