Nestled in the rolling foothills of Boulder, Colorado, Burning Sky Farm set the stage for Taylor and Mark’s unforgettable early summer wedding in 2025. With its sweeping mountain views and warm golden light, the venue carried a natural beauty that was only elevated by Taylor’s simple yet stunning Italian-inspired vision. The result? A day that was as personal as it was joyful, blending romance, whimsy, and just the right touch of disco magic.
From the very beginning, Taylor and Mark wanted their celebration to feel authentically “them.” Their beloved dog, Dumpling, had an important role in the festivities, reminding guests that family, four-legged or not, was at the heart of the day. Their story itself had modern beginnings: the two met on a dating app, but what made it unique was the way they always described finding each other. Instead of swiping endlessly, they liked to say they found their “unicorn.” This sweet inside joke became the inspiration for the seating chart, a playful detail that guests adored.
The overall design leaned into rustic Italian charm to complement the farm setting. Think elegant simplicity: tables draped with neutral linens, greenery cascading across surfaces, and thoughtful details that felt intimate and timeless. The mountain backdrop and warm summer air created the perfect ambiance for vows filled with laughter and happy tears.
But when it came time for the reception, Taylor and Mark took things in a totally different and incredibly fun direction. Guests stepped into what felt like a jungle disco club, complete with vibrant lights, lush greenery, and a packed dance floor that didn’t let up all night. The couple made sure the energy never wavered, introducing a few surprises that turned the evening into a full-on party.
Late-night snacks of nostalgic dino nuggets made their way to guests just when the dancing hit its peak, fueling everyone for another round on the floor. Then came Mook’s Market, a playful “shop” of light-up accessories that gave guests everything they needed to glow under the disco lights. And just when it seemed like the night couldn’t get more electric, a CO2 cannon brought an extra burst of excitement, setting the dance floor ablaze with cheers and laughter.
From heartfelt vows to the epic dance party finale, Taylor and Mark’s wedding at Burning Sky Farm was a perfect reflection of their love story: warm, unique, and full of life. They created a celebration that was elegant yet playful, intentional yet wildly fun. day where every detail felt like a chapter from their journey together.
And as guests left the farm under the summer night sky, it was clear that Taylor and Mark had done more than just throw a wedding. They had built an experience: one that will be remembered for years to come.
Thank you to our entire vendor team who worked tirelessly to make their vision come to life!
