When COVID-19 postponed their original wedding, Eileen and Ariance knew they wouldn’t let it stop their love. As if the pandemic didn’t turn their plans upside down enough, this specific week of August started off with the serious Grizzly Creek wildfire, causing a significant shut down of the highway between Denver to Aspen. It was a wild week, filled with multiple degrees of uncertainty, but their perseverance was unmatched and before we knew it we were moments away from helping Eileen walk down the aisle.
With six family and friends in attendance, E + A said their heartfelt and forever vows at 11,200 feet overlooking the sweeping views of Ajax, Buttermilk and the town of Aspen. It was breathtaking, emotional, and proof that Love Is Not Cancelled. Post ceremony celebrations were capped off with a customized shotski, lots of hugs and building excitement for their postponed celebration next year.
We were beyond honored to support Eileen and Ariance in this special elopement and continue working with them for their 2021 wedding. In the 2020 wedding landscape, we know there is no such thing as the “right” decision – just the one that feels best to you. We’re so incredibly happy for these newlyweds and cannot wait to celebrate with them all over aain for their big bash next year at Devil’s Thumb!
