Emily and Michael’s Steamboat Springs wedding weekend was the perfect blend of family history, heartfelt moments, and mountain beauty. The celebration began at Michael’s family home, where guests were welcomed with light bites and sweeping views of the valley below. Steamboat has always held a special place in Michael’s heart; his family spent years skiing and exploring the Colorado mountains together, so beginning the festivities there made the weekend feel all the more personal and meaningful.
On Friday, everyone gathered at E3 for a rehearsal dinner and welcome party along the river. Even as the rain rolled in, it couldn’t dampen the energy. With cozy cocktails, warm ambiance, and Chamberlin Birch keeping guests dancing late into the night, the evening set the tone for a joyful weekend ahead.
By the time the wedding day arrived, Steamboat delivered the most stunning weather. Emily and Michael exchanged vows at the edge of Catamount Lake, surrounded by mountains and the calm water behind them. A longtime family friend officiated, making the ceremony incredibly touching and deeply personal.
The reception unfolded inside a beautiful sailcloth tent filled with creamsicle and green tones that brought the whole space to life. Florals adorned every corner, and rattan pendants with cascading greenery created a magical focal point overhead. Speeches from loved ones had everyone laughing and wiping away tears, a true testament to how cherished Emily and Michael are. When Rockslide took the stage, the dance floor overflowed and stayed that way all night: a perfect ending to a weekend that no one will soon forget.
