Labor Day weekend in Beaver Creek was the perfect backdrop for Sara and Connor’s thoughtfully curated celebration. One that felt warm, intentional, and deeply personal from start to finish. The weekend began at the beloved Minturn Saloon, where an intimate rehearsal dinner with close family and friends set a cozy, welcoming tone. As the evening unfolded, the doors opened to a lively welcome party filled with familiar faces, cowboy hats, and plenty of good times. It was the kind of night that instantly made everyone feel like they were exactly where they were meant to be, kicking off a weekend centered on connection, nostalgia, and joy.
When wedding day arrived, it was incredibly special to see a full year of planning come to life. Sara and Connor were intentional about weaving in meaningful nods to their roots, both having grown up in Nebraska, while still creating a refined mountain celebration. We introduced a subtle nautical influence inspired by the lakes they grew up on, incorporating a sailboat-themed cocktail hour menu, stripes throughout the design, and touches of navy blue. A soft drizzle during the ceremony added an undeniably romantic feel as the couple exchanged vows surrounded by lush florals and an array of beautifully textured pots in varying sizes. The setting felt organic and layered, effortlessly blending into the mountain landscape.

From the beginning, Sara was clear that she wanted to avoid a traditional East Coast blue-and-white aesthetic. Instead, we leaned into a more modern, slightly masculine interpretation by incorporating deep brown tones and rich textures throughout the design. The stationery became a true focal point. Line Avenue crafted a stunning letterpress suite complete with a custom envelope liner that mirrored the patterned napkins used on wedding day. Striped details carried through to the menus, tying every element together seamlessly. As the night went on, the dance floor stayed full, and the love that surrounded Sara and Connor was felt in every moment of the weekend: an unforgettable celebration from start to finish.
