We wrapped up our season with the most amazing, dreamy jewel-toned wedding. It was a day to remember when Brooke and Joseph brought all their family and friends to The Broadmoor’s Cheyenne Lodge and tied the knot on the patio, where Colorado weather decided to add a sprinkle of snow to make the ceremony feel even more magical and cozy. The deck was adorned with a spectacular flower covered pergola that served as the perfect backdrop for the flurry filled ceremony.

After the snowy “I do’s,” everyone made their way inside to find themselves greeted by opulent black velvet bars and signature Peach Smash cocktails – a warm welcome on a chilly day. The prevailing weather outside seemed to cast a spell, mirroring the depth and richness of the interior palette, and embracing the season without falling into the usual winter wedding clichés. From the emerald green drapes that enveloped the room to the lush greenery hanging from the chandeliers and dramatic florals at the head table, every detail was dripping with drama.

The whole wedding design took inspiration from Joseph’s suave custom Zegna suit. It was all about that sleek black-on-black look with a subtle paisley pattern, which carried over to every detail – from the table numbers to the cocktail hour linens. The rich, warm colors were a nod to the early winter setting, and the reception room had lighter floral touches to contrast with the charcoal velvet linens and black dance floor. The velvet blue napkins and smoky glassware added a cool, stylish twist to the warm atmosphere.

As the night unraveled, Brooke and Joseph shared an intimate, romantic dance against the backdrop of an antique hutch, adorned with a myriad of flickering candles. A cozy lounge area stood adjacent, inviting guests to savor the enchantment of the evening in comfort. The perfect end to their night was a sparkler send-off in the falling snow, and they rode off into their forever in a vintage Cadillac, a romantic start to their new chapter together.
