It was a true joy to bear witness to the wedding of Brittany & Nick – two lovebirds that created an incredibly special wedding weekend in Vail, Colorado. These college sweethearts captured the hearts of everyone in their company (us, included!) as evidenced by the tender speeches, celebratory jubilance and weepy moments in between the most heartfelt connections (TLDR: an entire group of vendors burst into happy tears during their first dance).
Captured so effortlessly by the incomparable team behind Alp & Isle and Reagan Lynn Films, the wedding day was as equally emotion as it was impeccably curated, with design choices inspired to create a playful, modern and fresh mountain aesthetic. Alongside the brilliant team with The Perfect Petal and Knapp Design Co., we created a color story pairing both pastels and bolder brights to amplify the mountaintop beauty of Vail village. Bundling wildflowers alongside cosmos and garden roses, pops of light pinks and soft yellows created the chicest garden party vibe, further complimented (and embraced!) by colorful guest fashion selections.
It’s certainly no surprise that intentionality was woven through the details, – the ever-thoughtful duo created several easter eggs throughout the weekend to lift the curtain into the makings of their 10-year relationship tenure. The cocktail lovers & connoisseurs turned to beverages to playfully nod to a few of their favorite relationship eras (like crowd-favorites Daylight and Lavendar Haze) that kept the bar (and the dance floor!) buzzing all night long. Equally drawn to meaningful moments of music that defined their partnership, sweet lyrical lines were thoughtfully shared, giving a heartwarming peek into their love language.
The simple Head and the Heart line so eloquently sums up our thoughts about this day: your magic does something to me. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
