Samantha Taft (Assistant Planner) came to Calluna Events from Sun Valley, Idaho, where she spent a summer as an Assistant Planner for Heather Minor Events. That’s where her passion for weddings originated and has since grown! A recent graduate from the University of Colorado, she couldn’t stay away from Colorado for too long. Samantha, often referred to as Sami, has an exceptional eye for detail and is an organizational enthusiast. She believes any vision can become a reality and loves the satisfaction of a happy bride on the wedding day!

What is your favorite part of the wedding day? My favorite part of the wedding day is that moment the bride has with her father just before she walks down the aisle. It is certainly an emotional moment. It’s a big deal when a father hands over his little girl.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you. I am a total adrenaline junkie! I have gone sky diving twice and I also did the world’s largest bungie jump in South Africa. The more it gets your heart racing the better!
What wedding trends are you loving this season? I am really obsessed with the more wild and unstructured bridal bouquets. They are so free and whimsical, and each and every one is so stunning just alone but add it to the whole bridal ensemble and it is simply breathtaking
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without? One thing I honestly couldn’t live without are my two siamese kittens, Coco and Chanel. Call me #crazycatlady but they are the cheese to my macaroni.
When I travel I always carry: My pillow!!
