Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Calluna Events. We wanted to share what we are thankful for. What are you thankful for this year?
From Heather::
I am thankful to be able to go to work each day and do something I love and am passionate about. Grateful for our staff, our clients that allow us the honor and privilege to work side by side with them on their event and the vendors that work with us to produce incredible events time and time again. I am awed by the love and support of my family and my friends, especially my husband and our daughter (and little baby on the way!). I am especially thankful this year for my health and the health of loved ones. It’s something to never take for granted. I’m also thankful for fresh air, sunshine, hikes in the mountains, yoga, a good latte, great chocolate, travel to new places, adventure, patience, deep breaths and love.
From Jolene::
Everyday I find myself thankful for new things. I am grateful for every moment, for my family and their unconditional love, for the love I am surrounded by everyday at home, at work, and at other people’s celebrations, for my friends – the companions of my life, for good health – allowing me to do what I want to do, for sunshine, snow, and beautiful surroundings, for community, for kind strangers who allow me to help with their most personal events, for good food and drink, for a husband that cooks, and for the time to savor every moment and every magical thing.
From Gabbie::
I love that this time of year inspires reflection on what we are thankful for! Today and everyday, I’m thankful for my loving and supportive family, the love of my life (Max), my inspiring and lovely friends and colleagues, and my beautiful hometown of Boulder!
From Natalie::
I am thankful for life! A life that provides me with the opportunity to explore everyday and to have the constant support of the best family in the world and the family we choose, my friends. I am thankful for my health and the health of those around me. The list is endless; however, practicing thanks, not just today but everyday demonstrates how gratitude turns what we have into enough. Gratitude for the big things such as education to the simple things, like a bar of my favorite chocolate bar. Here’s to wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving filled with laughter, love, and plenty of mashed sweet potatoes!
From Melanie::
This year has had so many blessings, it’s hard to narrow down everything I am thankful for in one short paragraph! Above all, I am thankful for the good health of my family and friends, and the strength and love in our relationships. I am thankful for the opportunity of education, for the privilege to study amongst interesting and intelligent people. I am thankful for the opportunities this internship has provided me, as I continue to learn more each day. I am thankful for generosity and compassion of my neighbors, teachers and friends, and for little acts of kindness that continue to make the earth a better of place.
