Calluna Events Year in Review 2024

Dear Calluna Community,

As we bid farewell to 2024, we reflect on an incredible year! This year marked our 21st season in business, and our 20th anniversary year. We are immensely proud to hit this milestone as a business and are grateful for the clients, vendor partners and friends who have helped with our success throughout these 20 years!

It has been another year of wonderful achievements and milestones, and we are excited to share the highlights with you.

HEARTFELT CELEBRATIONS AND MEMORABLE MOMENTS

36 Events: Our dedicated team planed 36 events, including weddings, birthday parties, milestone events and corporate gatherings.
Diverse Venues: From Frank Sinatra’s iconic estate in Palm Springs to private ranches, and iconic locations like Hotel Jerome and The Little Nell in Aspen, we curated unforgettable experiences.
Milestone Events: This year more than ever we celebrated milestone events. We planned a 14th, 40th, 50th, 80th and 90th birthday celebrations along with two baby showers. As well as two Bar Mitzvah’s!
We are so honored and proud to have planned the Governor of Colorado’s sons’ Bar Mitzvah!
Love in the Air: Two of our Lead Planners got engaged, Francesca DeOrio and Megan Dunlap!
Babies on the way! Our Lead Planner Gina Yeon and her husband welcomed their first baby in April! Lead Planner Lindsay Roberts and her husband Ken are welcoming a new baby on the way at the end of this year, as well as Kira Reed who is welcoming her first next April! We are so excited for them and our growing Calluna family!
New Additions: This year we had several new assistant planners added to our team: Kirbi Olson and Kelly Palmer!
National Presence: Our presence extended beyond the mountain west, with events in Palm Springs and Napa, California, San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.

RECOGNITION AND ACCOLADES

Knot Best of Weddings 2024: We were recognized for the 17th consecutive year, a testament to our consistent excellence.
Style Me Pretty: We are so proud to be part of the Little Black Book, showcasing our dedication to style and creativity.
Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice Award 2024: Recognized for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences.
The Friends Club: We were invited to join in 2023, a testament to our strong industry connections and collaborations.
Freeda – we were thrilled to be a part of Freeda, a private networking group for business owners in the Event Industry.

Media Highlights: Featured in BRIDES, Style Me Pretty, and Rocky Mountain Bride for weddings, color palette insights, and expert perspectives.
Styled Shoots: Collaborated with Rocky Mountain Bride for stunning shoots in Snowmass, CO, featured in their fall issue.
Real Weddings: From Aspen to St. Louis, our weddings graced the pages of top wedding publications, showcasing diverse styles and breathtaking moments.
Our Owner, Heather, was named one of the 100 Most Influential Wedding Professionals for 2024.

Our Owner, Heather, was a speaker on the panel at WIPA Colorado Q3 event.
