There is nothing better than an end of summer tented wedding! Tucked high above Boulder is one our favorite venues, it’s got everything you could want – a lot of land, a top notch culinary program and views for days. We were so excited to start dreaming up Sam + Callyn’s wedding day here!
The views from the ceremony meadow are stunning and Yarrow + Spruce was able to take Callyn’s floral vision and really bring it to life in this space. With a stunning arch full of roses, hydrangeas and locally grown dahlia’s – it was the perfect backdrop for their sentimental ceremony.
One of our favorite elements of the weekend was the escort display! With the help of House of Wilde Events – we made this large display where guests found their seating assignments on custom postcards that the bride designed and sketched herself. There were different lakes and peaks from all over the world that played an important role in their relationship as avid fans of the outdoors.
Another highlight of their wedding day was these custom tap walls! Callyn + Sam are beer lovers and wanted to share that with their friends and family in a more unique way than just having cans and bottles. We designed these incredible tap walls (one of the cocktail hour and one for the reception) that featured their favorite beers – we had two local Colorado beers (Coors Light of course!!) and Sam’s parents drove two special kegs of Spotted Cow, a local Wisconsin beer all the way to Colorado which was a really fun and special surprise for all their friends and family.
For the reception – we design this stunning elevated tent in the back meadow of the property. With stunning florals and lanterns leading guests up the steps to patio that was designed as an outdoor lounge space – complete with fire pits for guests to take a break from the dance floor and get some fresh air!
Once inside – guests were taken into what felt like a secret garden. Greenery dripped from the ceilings and the tent poles, live trees were brought in to make the space feel even more special and the stunning chandelier display over the dance floor were such a showstopping design!
With the help of our friends at Bespoke by Bello – the custom curated tabletop glassware, flatware and plates were a stunning addition to the design. The wood chargers brought in a chic, Colorado element while the ribbed glassware provided a touch of modern design.
