This Colorado native joined Calluna Events as an ambitious college intern and never looked back. Now acting as Associate Planner (and resident hopeless romantic) Melanie has found purpose in bringing love and light into every celebration – whatever that may entail. She navigates the wedding world with optimism, gratitude, a heaping dose of hard work and continuous laughter.
After a stint in advertising at Boulder agency CP+B, this busy bee spends her days working alongside our friends at Artifact Uprising on the Marketing and Brand team (while also swooning over wedding albums on a regular basis). She lives each day rose colored glasses, but hey, don’t we all need a little romance in the ordinary?

My favorite part of a wedding is…
- The vows. Hands down. But also the walk down the aisle (looking at you, groom-y). No, the first look. Actually, probably the florals. Or when the photographer catches the golden light during cocktail hour. Definitely the endorphins at the end of the night. Can I just say the entire thing!? (If not, definitely the vows.)

- About time or Father of the Bride. The wedding scenes are unparalleled (do we sense a theme here?)
My guilty pleasure is…
- A glass of red, gummy candy and top notch cinematography!

- Floral design, a live band and the best photographer I can find!

- Paris-armed with an overstuffed backpack, a camera, broken French, lousy navigation skills and the best travel companion!

- Exploring happy hours or hiking trails or likely crying happy tears at the latest Calluna wedding.
