Love, love, love is the word that describes working with Sonia and Mike, their vision and the entire process of planning their wedding. In two months we designed and planned their entire wedding from start to finish. They put the process in our hands and completely trusted us to pull together the wedding of their dreams.
During our initial meeting we always ask our clients to describe their ideal wedding. Sonia and Mike never wavered as they described a formal, intimate wedding consisting of family, followed by a multi-course dinner, paired with exquisite wines in the privacy of their own home. They wanted the florals and decor to be a focal point and exude a classy, romantic and clean aesthetic. Sonia wanted to be blown away by tiny details and intricacies woven into the day. Self described “foodie’s and winos”, Sonia and Mike are very serious about great food, impeccable service and unique and outstanding wines.
Because they love eating at Frasca Food & Wine we initially thought about an in home dinner with Frasca. However, because it was graduation and Mother’s Day weekend, Frasca had their hands full with their restaurant.
Catering by Design was our top choice for a catering company we knew could create a menu up to Sonia and Mike’s expectations and pair incredible service with it. We worked with CBD to create two options for a 7-course meal. Minus a few minor changes Sonia and Mike went with our original menu proposal. Not only were they thrilled with the meal during their tasting, they were blown away by the taste and presentation of each course the night of their wedding.
For Sonia and Mike’s decor we worked hand in hand with Fiori Flowers and Event Rents to create the look and feel of their ceremony and reception from the bottom up. We listened to what Sonia wanted and truly felt like we knew what she was looking for. From the floral colors and types, right down to the vessel and placement we worked with Fiori to get Sonia’s vision exact! We are so proud to say Sonia and Mike LOVED the decor and it surpassed their expectations. The biggest compliment we can receive is for our client to tell us “you really listened and planned a wedding that was completely us!”
