4th of July weekend was one for the books this year. As Sarah + Mitchell’s guests made their way to Colorado, they were able to celebrate the 4th with fireworks in Vail Valley, followed by a weekend to celebrate the East Coast couple. The weekend started off with a welcome party at Deca + Bol in Vail, where guests were encouraged to bring out their best western welcome attire! Guests did not disappoint and brought out all the boots, belts and bolo ties!
After a night of bowling and welcoming the bride and groom, everyone was welcomed by a perfect Colorado mountain day – that kind of day where you need a sweater in the morning, but then had perfect warm sunshine to bask in the rest of the day before the sun went down. Guests were shuttled up from the Beaver Creek to a picturesque Beano’s Cabin. All of the snow had just melted off and the stunning greens on the mountains were showing off. Not only was the weather perfect, but there were wildflowers abundant for Sarah and Mitchell to capture some quintessential Colorado mountain photos.
Sarah and her girls embodied the greenery around and had soft hues and prints in their dresses. The mismatched colors and prints complimented the organic feel of the entire design of the wedding. The ceremony arch florals were adorned in baskets to bring a farmer’s market feel to the design, while also tying in the wicker chargers that were waiting to greet guests inside at their tables.
Highlighting the season we were in, along with vibrant colors were the main focus of the decor. An abundance of pinks with pops of red filled the cabin. Guests were greeted with seasonal fruits and veggies to embrace the summer season. Soft greens highlighted the berry tones to bring an earthy, grounded feel to the entire design. it was important to the couple to compliment the beauty that was around them, rather than compete with it.
The couple and their guests danced the night away, all thanks to the incredible The Get Down. We are so excited to be able to share a few photos from the weekend and can’t wait to share even more!
