We are so excited to share all the pretty details from Holly + Matt’s western chic wedding weekend at Dunton Hot Springs in Colorado with you! After postponing their wedding due to covid and working with Calluna for two years, what unfolded on their wedding weekend was a dream come true! Dunton Hot Springs is a special place for Holly + Matt as they visited a month after they got engaged and instantly knew it was the perfect place for their wedding immersed in nature with the beautiful forests, mountains, flower fields, and surrounding waterfalls.
Holly + Matt’s intimate wedding was full of personality with rich textures of leather, layered woven rugs, and warm woods with moody moments full of terracotta tones, burgundy, caramel, and greenery playing to the beauty of the mountains and the romantic mining town where it all took place.
Their first look was absolutely breathtaking! Holly floated across the flower fields to surprise Matt in her gorgeous Galia Lahav gown with a tumbling waterfall and luscious trees in the distance. When he turned ‘the world just melted away and it felt like it was just the two of us surrounded by the beauty of the mountains in a field of wild daisies. It was the most perfect moment in time!’
See their breathtaking first look on our TikTok!
The bride and groom made their way to ceremony where layered woven rugs splashed down the aisle with guests seated at a mix of modern leather, mango wood, and fur chairs overlooking the gorgeous alpines of the Colorado Rockies. Holly’s sweet mom gifted her grandmother’s embroidered handkerchief that she pinned onto her bridal bouquet that she held as they walked down the aisle together. ‘The most serendipitous part about it all was that I also gave my mom a custom embroidered handkerchief as a wedding gift!’ Our hearts just melted as Holly + Matt read their vows to each other and said I do to their forever!
The guests then made their way to cocktail hour and reception, where they delighted in the newlywed’s signature cocktail ‘The Spicy Sprollie’ named after their pup, enjoyed a delicious meal, and danced the night away underneath the stars! Guests found their seats at warm wood tables dressed with gorgeous florals, acacia wood chargers, moody dinnerware, vintage burgundy glassware, and ribbed champagne coupes to toast with each place setting adorned with watercolor place cards with a bear, moose, deer, or fox as a nod to their love of animals. It truly was a day to remember as Holly + Matt celebrated their love with their nearest and dearest in such good cheer!
The days leading up to Holly + Matt’s wedding were fun filled as the group went horseback riding, picnicked in the forest, enjoyed the hot springs, and attended their incredible cowboy chic rehearsal dinner! Everyone showed up in their cowboy boots and cowboy hats for the BBQ, which ‘made the night feel even more like a celebration yeehaw!’
Holly + Matt’s wedding weekend in the mountains was so dreamy and will always be one that we cherish! We’re so grateful to be a part of their lovely celebration and we hope you enjoy the magic from their wedding celebration!
We’re so excited Holly + Matt’s two-part wedding is featured on BRIDES!

There are some couples, some weddings, where the work isn’t work and by the time you get to the ceremony you feel as though you are watching two old, dear friends marry. Couples who make you want to go above and beyond every single minute, who are a complete joy to work with – grateful and trusting the entire way. Meshach and Warren put their wedding in our hands and we couldn’t be more honored and privileged to have met them and the opportunity to be with them this past weekend.
Meshach and Warren reached out to us in November of last year with the idea to plan a late winter wedding in March in the mountains of Colorado. Working quickly in four short months we planned their wedding start to finish; from recommending them to Dunton Hot Springs and all their incredible vendors, we were able to plan every last detail of their wedding weekend. We are still floating on a cloud with just how perfect the weekend turned out! The attention to detail from the Dunton staff, the incredible food, our dream team of vendors, the ambiance, the weather that was timed so perfectly… all of our hard work came together so seamlessly and with such ease. It’s weekends like this that make us so much more grateful and honored to do what we do.
The Dunton Hot Springs staff was so lovely and incredible to work with and produced incredible meal after incredible meal all weekend! They helped with all the tiny details to make sure nothing was overlooked leading up to and on the wedding weekend. Their designation in 2016 on the Gold List in Conde Nast Traveler Magazine is well deserved.
If you haven’t noticed we adore James Christianson and Otto Schulze, two of the industry’s best photographers and an absolute wonder to work with. They make us good and we cannot wait to see their professional images from the weekend! Adam from Adam Fusion films and his partner Mike were on board with cinematography and even brought a drone to capture some stunning aeriel footage! If you haven’t seen the sneak peek it’s dreamy!
Lana from Lanas Shop was a wonder to work with as always! She set the tone of the wedding with her hand design and custom illustrations that are beyond beautiful. The oh-so-talented Lana designed the welcome bags with a custom painting of the wedding chapel, the weekend schedule, menus, place cards and programs everything was just so perfect!
Plum Sage Flowers took our vision for the flowers and design and embraced it fully! The florals, texture and colors were everything we imagined and more and Meshach nearly cried when she walked into the room. She was blown away with how beautiful the room looked and said it was much more than she imagined! We designed the tables with china, flatware, chargers, glassware from Yonder. We ordered custom, hand dyed silk runners and napkins from Tono & Co, a brand new company and rented wood cross back chairs from Premier Event Rentals. Mallory and Liz, we are indebted to you for all your assistance this weekend!
Ever and Kelby from Matthew Morris Salon made Meshach and all the ladies (and Warren) look so beautiful this weekend and were a joy to work with and get to know.
We brought in DJ Ryan from Telluride who provided the most magical ceremony music and then kept guests entertained the entire evening with his incredibly curated music.
We are grateful to each and every one of you for such an incredible weekend and for making the day exactly what they had envisioned and more! Meshach and Warren were thrilled! Congratulations and best wishes you two! We love you!! xx
