Photo Booths and their popularity just keep growing. It seems like more and more keep popping up and each one bring such fun aspects to the party. I mean seriously, what’s not to love about getting dolled up in some nonsensical outfit and posing for a camera?
Photo booths add a playful aspect to any event and they serve as a great way to make a memorable guest book with the photos each guest takes. If you ask us, photo booths are simply a win win for all involved. Most photo booths come with unlimited prints – which means that your guests get to take a ridiculous photo for not only your guest book but also as a keep sake.

We are starting to see more and more open air photo booths! They are your traditional Photo Booth with a modern twist!
We are also seeing companies pop around Colorado that serve as both a traditional photo booth as well as an open air photo booth. With these companies the sky is the limit in what you end up getting!
We just recently found out about this photo booth and we are absolutely smitten with it! It is the perfect way to add some fun to your event and did we mention it is a total trend alert! Who doesn’t love taking photos in a super awesome old school VW van!
The days of old, leather bound guest books with guests’ signatures are long gone. Couples and event hosts have gotten much more creative with guest “books” and a lot of times have something fabulous to hang on the walls of their new home together. We’ve seen guest books made of fingerprints (our very own Jolene did this at her wedding, in addition to the guest book we had at our office Open House – hand-drawn by Jolene!), notes, tags, maps (as we saw at Natalie + Ken’s recent wedding), pins, globes (as we featured in this travel inspiration board), polaroids, puzzle pieces, books, and more!
A few things to consider when planning your own guest book idea:
Do you want guests to sign their names or leave a note?
What do you want to know from your guests (advice, location, how they met you, etc)?
Do you want the collection to be easy to store, read through, or display?
How much time do you want guests to spend at your event signing the guest book?
