As wedding bloggers, we look for inspiration every day, in every way. Most recently, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has walked right into our hearts with one of the most attention-grabbing wedding ensembles we’ve seen in awhile.
Costume designer Trish Summerville describes the movie’s overall theme as “moodier, an escalated and high fashion feel“. She worked along side Tex Saverio, an Indonesian fashion designer, to complete Katniss’s dreamy wedding dress characterized by “drama and fantasy, with intricate details“. This show stopping dress is just that – and may be making as many headlines as the actual film.
Without giving away details from the flick, we’ll let the pictures do the talking. We’re finding inspiration from extravagant, regal and couture wedding looks, definitely fit for a girl on fire.
