From periwinkle and chartreuse hues to heartfelt handwritten notes for each guest, Tori and Joe’s wedding weekend was a stunning reflection of their personalities and their love of intentional design. Inspired by the surrounding mountains, fashion-forward prints, and the welcoming energy of modern hospitality, every moment was crafted to be meaningful, elevated, and full of warmth.

Tori and Joe’s wedding design began with a blend of inspiration drawn from the Colorado landscape, Zimmermann’s romantic prints, and the refined world of hospitality-driven interiors. Together, these influences created a style that was both timeless and unexpected, a balance between organic beauty and modern sophistication.

Their color palette came alive with shades of periwinkle, chartreuse, light blue, and fresh greens, accented by joyful pops of yellow. The result was light, layered, and full of depth; a true reflection of Colorado’s natural tones at the height of summer.

The bridesmaids’ dresses were a gorgeous ombré of blue, from airy sky tones to rich cobalt, each gown distinct yet harmoniously unified. The florals mirrored the landscape with mostly green and white blooms, accented with hints of blue and yellow. And one of the weekend’s most unforgettable style moments came courtesy of the mother of the bride, whose citrus-chartreuse Elie Saab gown became an instant design muse, radiant, bold, and elegant in every sense.

Tori and Joe’s celebration was built on a single guiding principle: that their guests would feel their love and gratitude from the moment they arrived until their final goodbyes. Every design choice supported that vision, with layers of thoughtful detail that created both beauty and meaning.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with carefully curated blue boxes waiting in their hotel suites, each one filled with local treats, custom property maps, and information cards, designed in collaboration with our stationery partner. These welcome gifts set the tone for the weekend: intentional, heartfelt, and elegant.

The escort display was one of the most creative and personal touches of all. For years, Tori and Joe have collected matchbooks from their favorite restaurants and bars around the world, tiny mementos from places that shaped their love story. To honor that tradition, we designed an escort display featuring custom matchbooks for each couple, each one leading them to their assigned table.

But perhaps the most touching element came during dinner. Each guest found a handwritten note from Tori and Joe at their place setting, a small but incredibly meaningful gesture that left a lasting impact. Seeing guests open their cards, smiling and tearing up as they read words of love and appreciation, was a moment we’ll never forget.

Other personal details included custom napkins featuring illustrations of the couple’s dogs, ceremony programs designed to look like floral bouquets, and bespoke bar signage, each one a reflection of the couple’s creativity, humor, and heart.

For the ceremony, Tori and Joe envisioned something deeply organic,  a design that blended effortlessly with the stunning Colorado landscape rather than competing with it.

We brought this vision to life using individual florals down the aisle and around the ceremony platform. This approach allowed the ceremony space to feel natural, as if the florals and greenery had simply grown there over time. The aisle and platform, built from natural wood, enhanced that sense of connection to the earth while complementing the surrounding mountain views.

The result was a ceremony setting that felt completely at home within its environment,  understated yet powerful, timeless yet deeply personal.

While the ceremony celebrated nature’s simplicity, the reception offered a striking contrast, a complete transformation of the existing venue into an elevated, design-forward space inspired by the warmth and refinement of boutique hospitality interiors.

Instead of embracing the venue’s inherent rustic aesthetic, we chose to balance it with softness and sophistication through draping, lighting, and texture. The transformation was remarkable: elegant, romantic, and utterly unique.

The show-stopping  floral chandelier installation above the black-and-white dance floor was a highlight of the entire weekend. Combining cascading greenery, soft blooms, and artistic pendant lighting, the installation added a sense of grandeur and movement, serving as both a visual and emotional centerpiece for the evening.

To soften the space further, we draped the large stone fireplace and introduced a custom-built black wood bar framed by antique mirrored shelving. These design choices elevated the ambiance, introducing a modern yet timeless sensibility that beautifully balanced the natural elements of the space.

Every layer ,  from the furnishings and drapery to the lighting and floral textures, worked together to create an atmosphere that felt sophisticated yet inviting. The transformation was so complete that even Tori was left speechless when she first stepped into the room. It was a moment of pure awe and joy, the kind of emotional reveal every designer dreams of.

More than anything, this wedding was about love, not just between Tori and Joe, but among everyone who came to celebrate them. The design, the details, the mountain backdrop, all of it was simply a reflection of the warmth and generosity that radiated from the couple themselves.

From the lively laughter during toasts to the electric energy on the dance floor beneath the floral chandelier, every moment felt alive with joy and connection. Guests weren’t just attending a wedding, they were experiencing a weekend that celebrated what it means to truly gather, to share gratitude, and to be present in a place of natural beauty and heartfelt design.

The weekend began with a colorful and joyful rehearsal dinner and welcome party inspired by the idea of a “Summer Garden Party.”

The design featured a communal dining table draped in multi-colored floral linens, lined with potted herbs and petite bud vases in an array of vibrant hues. It felt fresh, inviting, and perfect for a Colorado summer evening. One of the most meaningful details was the inclusion of fresh strawberries scattered naturally along the table — a heartfelt nod to Tori’s late grandfather, who spent every summer picking gallons of strawberries from local farms. This thoughtful tribute brought a touch of nostalgia and love to the celebration, grounding the evening in family and memory.

It was the perfect opening to a weekend centered around warmth, connection, and joy.

Tori and Joe’s wedding was the perfect intersection of nature and refinement,  a celebration that captured the best of Colorado’s mountain spirit with the soul of timeless hospitality. Every choice, from the periwinkle and chartreuse palette to the custom matchbook escort display, was made with intention and love.

As planners, these are the kinds of weddings that fill our hearts: celebrations that are beautiful not just in their aesthetic, but in their meaning. Tori and Joe’s weekend reminded us that great design isn’t just about what you see, it’s about what you feel.

Congratulations, Tori + Joe! It was such an honor to bring your vision to life and to witness the love and community that surrounded you all weekend long.

And an immense thank you to our entire vendor team who worked tirelessly to make their vision come to life!
