Some weddings stand out not because of elaborate moments, but because the day simply felt right from start to finish. Stephanie + Evan’s celebration at Greystone Castle was one of those events: thoughtful, relaxed, beautifully executed, and genuinely reflective of the couple and the environment around them.

Their wedding day unfolded with the kind of ease that only happens when the right team, the right setting, and the right couple come together. Today, we’re sharing a closer look at their celebration at one of our favorite Colorado venues.

Greystone Castle is a venue with presence, not overly showy, but striking in the best way. Perched above the valley with 360° mountain views, it offers a mix of rustic architecture, expansive meadows, and quiet garden spaces.

For Stephanie + Evan, the venue checked all the boxes: Colorado-forward, scenic without being remote, and flexible enough for the type of guest experience they envisioned. It gave them space to be outdoors, take advantage of the summer weather, and allow guests to move naturally throughout the property.

Their ceremony took place in the meadow behind the castle, an open, natural space that didn’t require much embellishment. Honeycomb Floral created arrangements that blended into the environment rather than overtaking it: greenery, soft neutrals, and textural elements that felt cohesive with the surroundings.

It was a warm, blue-sky Colorado day. Guests settled in easily, the mountains created a clean backdrop, and the entire ceremony felt streamlined and intentional. No fuss, no overcomplication, just a meaningful moment in a beautiful setting.

After the ceremony, guests transitioned to the back garden for cocktail hour. This space is one of the strongest features of the venue, open lawn, natural shade, and sunset views that effortlessly create a romantic atmosphere, without the need for added décor.

As the sun dropped behind the mountains, the light warmed the entire space. Guests mingled, grabbed drinks, and enjoyed a smooth transition into the evening. The vibe was easy and energetic, exactly what Stephanie + Evan wanted for their day.

Inside the tent, the design leaned into a mix of greens and neutrals, keeping everything cohesive with the outdoor setting. Honeycomb Floral’s arrangements brought a fresh, natural feel to the tables, and the combination of linens, candles, and textures created a clean, elevated look without feeling overly formal.

A standout moment in the design was the escort display from SheLettering, a simple yet eye-catching installation that tied in the overall style. Her menus and place cards added a personalized touch to each place setting. Nothing felt over-styled; instead, the space was curated to feel warm, intentional, and functional for great food, conversation, and the flow of the evening.

Dinner was relaxed and well-paced, with each course thoughtfully served and genuinely enjoyed by guests. Toasts from family and friends added personality and helped shape the story of the evening- one that was heartfelt, funny, and truly reflective of the couple.

What stood out most during this portion of the night was how comfortable the room felt. Guests weren’t rushing, the transitions were smooth, and the atmosphere developed naturally as daylight shifted to evening. It was exactly the kind of seamless guest experience we aim to create.

Once the band, Great Family Artists, began to play, the night instantly shifted into celebration mode. They brought incredible energy, and guests were on the dance floor within minutes, and stayed there.

The dance floor remained packed all night, a true testament to both a talented band and a crowd eager to celebrate. It was one of those unforgettable receptions where everyone stayed engaged until the very last song.

Working with Stephanie + Evan was an absolute dream. They were organized, thoughtful, communicative, so kind, and fully trusted their vendor team. They cared deeply about their guests’ comfort, creating a seamless flow, and staying true to their personal style without unnecessary excess. Their trust in the process allowed the event to come together smoothly, and seeing them enjoy it in real time was incredibly rewarding.

Stephanie + Evan: thank you for choosing us to be part of your wedding day. It was an honor to support you and to help bring your vision to life.

And an immense thank you to our entire vendor team who worked tirelessly to make their vision come to life!
