A Mountain Welcome

For Caroline, Vail has always been a second home.. A place shaped by years of family trips and mountain memories. When she met Charlie in the UK, bringing their favorite people together in Colorado was a no-brainer. With guests traveling from across the globe, they designed a full weekend to share the beauty of the Rockies with everyone they love.

Village Cocktails & A Luxe Dinner at Matsuhisa

The weekend kicked off Thursday with “Cocktails & Cones” at Gorsuch Ski Café, a playful ice cream and cocktail reception in the village. Friday gave everyone a chance to experience the mountain town at their own pace after traveling, whether relaxing, sightseeing or browsing local shops. That evening, the focus shifted to an intimate rehearsal dinner at Matsuhisa Vail. Surrounded by rich wood finishes and sleek contemporary design, the wedding party and immediate family shared a multi-course sushi meal, setting an elevated, exciting tone for the weekend ahead.

The Main Event: Pastel Blooms & Mountain Vows

Wedding day brought picture-perfect early summer weather to Beano’s Cabin. Tucked right along the edge of the log cabin, the ceremony setup was quietly stunning in its simplicity. Soft pastels, blush pinks, buttery yellows, and fresh greens complemented the landscape as guests took their seats. Caroline and Charlie had decided on a delicate, ground-nesting floral arrangement for the altar space, leaving the gorgeous mountains behind them to do the talking!

A Classic Beano’s Reception: Dinner & Dancing Under the Lights

Following the vows, guests transitioned seamlessly into cocktail hour outdoors in the meadow. Everyone gathered around a classic circular bar complete with thoughtful bartop details and white umbrellas—making it the perfect setup to mingle and enjoy the mountain air.

Afterward, everyone moved inside Beano’s for a rustic, warmly lit, gourmet dinner filled with touching toasts. As night settled over the valley, the party shifted into the clear-top tent, draped in a canopy of twinkle lights, for a truly unforgettable evening of dancing under the stars.

Between moments of quiet charm- from sharing village ice cream to high-alpine toasts, Caroline and Charlie’s Vail celebration was a seamless bridge between their UK love story and the Colorado mountains Caroline has always held close to her heart. We truly loved being a part of bringing their special weekend to life!
