There is something that makes winter weddings extra romantic… whether it be the striking sunlight hitting the white snow or the quiet crackle of the fireplace mid-ceremony, the Calluna girls have a special place in our hearts for couples that wed in the chillier months. Vanessa and Avery was a couple who stole our hearts with their elegant St Regis Aspen wedding. Their impeccable style made for one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve ever, ever seen.
With the stunning backdrop of fresh snow and bluebird skies, Aspen Mountain set the tone for the clear tent we set up in the St Regis courtyard for the wedding ceremony, complete with real crystal chandeliers, light carpeting, sheer draping, big blooming branches, and faux fur throws for the guests to bundle up in.
Vanessa and Avery are a very special sort of couple, whose style and vision transcends all decades, trends, and traditions. They came to us in October, ready and willing to begin planning a timeless Aspen Winter Wedding the following January. From day one, the emphasis was on the entire guest experience and keeping the mood very intimate so everyone can celebrate the couple over the long holiday weekend.
After the ceremony, guests were invited into the transformed Trecento restaurant, which the couple chose instead of the ballroom to maintain the intimacy. Filled to the brim with floral accents, crisp linen, and tons of candlelight, the couple entered the ballroom to cheers from the guests and went straight into the Jewish Hora dance, to set a fun mood of love, laughter, and merrymaking.

The bride wore a stunning, form-fitting Oscar de La Renta gown with custom silk gloves and the groom looked dapper in a sharp, black tuxedo. Guests partied late into the night at this momentous celebration and the hand-picked decor and details will surely stand the test of time.
