This January, we had the honor of coordinating the picture perfect wedding of Rebecca and Tom in Vail. Despite a cold snap that brought single-digit temperatures to the mountains the weekend before, the wedding day was perfect, with a high of 32º – ideal for a late January celebration. True to their love for winter activities, the couple kicked off the weekend with a group ski outing the day before the ceremony. In keeping with the theme, the groomsmen wore boutonnieres featuring miniature wooden skis, and the guest book was crafted from vintage skis – a sweet and meaningful keepsake for Rebecca and Tom.
When planning their special day, Rebecca and Tom wanted to incorporate personal elements that reflected their journey together, something we always love to do. As an avid host, Rebecca had an impressive collection of napkin rings. We used these to personalize each table, creating an inviting atmosphere that made guests feel as if they were in the couple’s home in New Jersey. The table numbers were inspired by their favorite ski runs, and the escort cards were beautifully designed laser-cut mountain scenes by the talented team at Montana Paper Co. The floral arrangements were thoughtfully designed with earthy, delicate touches to complement the surrounding snow-covered landscape.
As guests entered the reception, they were greeted by a canopy of lights above, creating a starry ambiance that set the tone for a magical evening as they danced the night away!
