This past January, we made our way up to Vail for a picture perfect wedding for Rebecca and Tom. The weekend before the wedding, Colorado experienced a cold snap where the mountains were experiencing highs in the single digits, but on the day of, we had a high of 32º – which is close to perfect for an end of January day! The couple made sure to kick off the weekend with their favorite winter activity – skiing! Along with a group ski session the day before the wedding, the guys boutonnieres were made with little wood skis and the guest book were vintage wooden skis so Rebecca and Tom could have the sweetest keepsake to look back on.
When planning the day, Rebecca and Tom wanted to weave their story throughout the day (which is a favorite of ours to do!) Rebecca loves hosting at home and had quite the collection of napkin rings. We gave each of the tables their own set so all the guests could feel like they were at the couple’s home in New Jersey! The table numbers were all the favorite ski runs of theirs and the escort cards were the perfect laser cut mountain scene by the incredible Montana Paper Co. The floral design was earthy and delicate to mingle with the snow covered terrain all around. When guests walked into the reception space, they were greeted with a ceiling of lights, which felt like stars as they danced the night away!
