For years, Vail has been an incredible special place to Brenna & Ryan. Her family has spend years coming to town to visit and so when it came time to plan their summertime wedding, there was no other place they wanted to look. The Holy Cross Wedding Deck and Arrabelle Square provided the perfect backdrop for this Texas duo to show their friends and family why Colorado was so special them! We are excited to share a more in depth look into to their incredible day!
The Holy Cross wedding deck is one of Colorado’s most picturesque mountaintop ceremony locations. Brenna and Ryan were especially excited to give guests a true Colorado experience – a gondola ride followed by the incredible views that Vail is known for, in an area where they often ski in the winter time. Amy Lauren Floral Design created a stunning ceremony floral installation where Brenna & Ryan, with the help of Reverend Jill Pidcock, said I Do.
Once back down on the ground, the ski yard turned into a cocktail hour space where guests noshed on some of Brenna and Ryan’s favorite foods and sipped on signature cocktails – which were one of the most fun parts of the day. Brenna’s family is known around the Dallas area for a pretty epic Dallas Cowboys tailgate, complete with a popular cocktail her parents bring to every game, so it was only fitting to celebrate their wedding day with the same drink. It was a huge hit!
Before entering the tent, guests found their names on a class of champagne adorned with an acrylic butterfly that had their name and table number. Once inside, sage color linens, vintage dusty blue chargers and pops of pink brought this beautiful reception space to life.
