New York Bridal Fashion Week… A time where the wedding wonders of the world unite to showcase the most stunning, innovative and inspiring bridal styles for the season to come. Every year we anxiously (and shamelessly) wait for the #nybfw glorious creations to grace our newsfeeds and Fall 2017 did not disappoint. The runway ready looks were so versatile we could barley decide our favorites, but we’ve rounded up four fabulous trends that won our hearts.
We’re so looking forward to seeing our beautiful brides rock these looks next year. Enjoy!
Simplicity with a Twist: We spoke with Kelly & team from Little White Dress who attended the NY Fashion Week (we’re so jealous!!) to get her thoughts. “The fitted, structured simple silhouette is big right now, but it’s best when it has something interesting, like this amazing knotted textured fabric on this gown by Lela Rose”. We are also crushing hard on this Oscar De La Renta a unique 3D floral detail that exemplifies Kelly’s point. So elegant.

Romantic Statement Ball Gown. Also from Kelly: “We’ve seen a major return to voluminous silhouettes and classic, WOW ball gowns. This gown by Galia Lahav is the perfect example of that.” Well, we are welcoming this go-to classic look back with wide open arms. The dresses we saw at NYBFW fondly remind us of Calluna bride Olivia’s Devil’s Thumb Ranch romantic ballgown from Liancarlo. Talk about a stunner!

Barely There Bridal: An attractive choice for our daring brides, we are intrigued by the rise of boudoir inspired wedding gowns. Always a fan of the illusion neckline, we’re loving the designers who are taking this one step further and tastefully playing with the delicate design.

Powerful Pantsuits: This nontraditional look has hit the runway before, but we are eager for this showstopping ensemble to have a moment in 2017. A great choice for bridal brunch or prenuptial parties, we also encourage our fashion forward brides to consider this for their wedding day attire. It’s modern, it’s chic, and can be completely versatile with texture, fit and style. What better way to show your fabulous style?!
