Every year, we love to share our highlights and accomplishments with our supporters and readers. 2013 was our most successful year to date and we at Calluna Events are excited to share our incredible highlights with you!
- 2013 marked our 10th year in business!
- We planned nearly 50 events, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, non-profit events, showers, anniversary, holiday parties and business events!
- We completed a full rebrand and unveiled our new site, logo, and brand in January.
- We were completely honored to have been featured in Style Me Pretty, Reign Magazine, the Knot Colorado magazine, and many more blogs and features.
- We hired our first full time Lead Planner who started in January!
- We received the Knot Best of Weddings for the 6th year in a row.
- We were awarded the Wedding Wire Bride’s Choice Awards 2013.
- We were selected to be a COUTUREColorado LIST Member once again.
- We collaborated with Lesley Norton of Vail Resorts to plan a fully branded hotel in Beaver Creek. Stay tuned for details on this.
- We did a gorgeous styled shoot at the Rembrandt Yard here.
- We moved into a brand new studio space in North Boulder, working alongside stylist Liz Finkelstein of Mile High Style, and featured in a Couture Colorado feature here.
- Our styled shoot at the Kitchen Boulder was featured on Style Me Pretty Home here
- Our office remodel was also featured in Boulder Lifestyle Magazine (thanks, Chairished)
- Calluna Events owner obtained Expert Status with Wedding Industry Experts
- We were invited to be a part of the OnceWed Vendor Guide
- We won Bride’s Choice Awards with Wedding Wire, a bride selected award
- We weathered the historic Boulder floods and successfully relocated 2 large weddings (one of them was completely planned in less than 24 hours) and were featured in the Huffington Post (slide 9)
- We were so honored to have planned a beautiful gay wedding for our new friends, Cord and Kelly. See images here.
- We were selected to be a part of the Blue Label list on Ruffled Blog for the 2nd year.
- Once again we are a Little Black Book Member of Style Me Pretty.
- We were interviewed and featured on the Knot Colorado’s “ Get to Know a Wedding Planner” section.
- We planned weddings & events in Boulder, Denver, Vail, Aspen, Beaver Creek, Avon, Estes Park, Winter Park, Tabernash, Steamboat Springs, and Lyons, Colorado this year.
- We continued to be listed as a preferred wedding planner at the St. Julien Hotel & Spa, The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch, ICONIC Weddings, Beaver Creek Mountain Resorts, Keystone Resorts, Stanley Hotel and Della Terra Mountain Chateau, Grand Hyatt Denver, The Hotel Boulderado and more!
- Our weddings were featured on print publications of Reign Magazine, Colorado Brides, The Knot Colorado.
- We had the opportunity to work with over 250 new and talented vendors in the Colorado wedding industry such as photographers, floral designers, bakers and cinematographers and continued to expand our knowledge and relationships with vendor partners to ensure we are providing the best vendor recommendations for our brides.
- We attended many industry events and networking opportunities to broaden our knowledge of the industry and met new vendors
- We planned weddings at private residences, working farms, mountain ranches, 5-star restaurants, hotel ballrooms, historic homes, mountaintops, an art gallery and many other wedding venues.
- We had a blast and feel so fortunate to absolutely love what we do!
