About Frisk Jewelry ::
During the winter of 2004 Donna, Jessica and Amanda Rubino, a mother and two daughter team, began creating accessories, and soon Frisk Jewelry was born in the heart of Boulder, CO. Growing up near New York City, Donna always had an adoration for, and extensive knowledge about, vintage jewelry. She passed this appreciation of old treasures to her daughters. The ladies combined their love of vintage and fashion in the jewelry. Frisk pieces are stylish, one of a kind, and are each made of countless elements from the 1920s through the 1980s. Soon Frisk was selling at boutiques around the country and appearing in national and local magazines.
In June, 2008 the Rubinos opened Frisk Accessories for Girls and Guys at 1144 13th Street in Boulder. The boutique is located on “The Hill,” a retail district near the University of Colorado where both Jessica and Amanda graduated. The 100-year-old historic building is a perfect showcase for Frisk’s ever expansive line, including two or three new seasonal collections and the permanent “Classic” collection. Frisk Accessories also carries a select group of incredible local and national designers, which are exclusive to the boutique.
