Abby & Mat are super sweet and we felt so lucky to be able to assist them with the planning of their destination wedding in Moab, Utah. Friends and family travelled from all over to Moab to celebrate with the couple. The wedding weekend was held at the Whispering Oaks Ranch – a 50 acre stunning ranch that sites high on a mesa – just outside of Moab, UT. Abby, Mat and their friends are huge bikers and climbers so having their wedding in an area that is KNOWN for both it’s climbing and mountain biking was an obvious choice.
More than any other couple we’ve worked with lately, Abby & Mat really wanted their wedding day to reflect them! They brought pieces of Boulder, Colorado with them and Antonio Laudisio and his crew from Laudisio’s in Boulder made the trek down to provide an incredible family style meal that rivaled anything you’d get in their restaurant.
Outside of Laudisio’s, Timmy D’Antonio Photography and Calluna Events, both Boulder based wedding businesses who made the trip to Moab with them, Abby & Mat chose to support the local community in Moab by getting their cake and flowers locally. The flowers were provided by Moab florist Manna Floral Design and the gorgeous cake was provided by Luscious Layers a Moab wedding baker.
