Real Wedding Recap | Alayna & Hayden's Cabo Celebration

We’re thrilled to share a recap of Alayna & Hayden’s San Jose del Cabo wedding weekend we had the honor of planning back in April! San Jose del Cabo is Alayna’ second home – after her parents retired in 2012, they built a home in the area where they spend a majority of their time. Over the last 12 years, they’ve built a beautiful community of friends they now call family and they were so honored to share their little slice of heaven with their 180 friends and family who traveled from all around the world to celebrate with them. Take a peek into their Jungle Disco weekend below!

The weekend kicked off with a fiesta in downtown San Jose del Cabo where all their friends and family came together at Habaneros. The night was fueled by maragritas, local mexican cuisine (the churros we’re out of this world!) and a live saxophone player who kept the party going with such fun vibes!

The next day we were honored to execute their celebration at Acre Resort Los Cabos. Tucked in the foothills of San Jose del Cabo, this lush sanctuary is on 25-acres of lush greenery and boasts treehouses, organic farms, and world-class culinary program. The ladies got ready in one of their private 2-bedroom villas, the perfect space to spend the morning!

The ceremony took place in the lush, private garden that was surrounded by palm trees. The stunning chuppah was designed by Blush n Roses Cabo and incorporated white and blue florals, which perfectly complemented the bridesmaids dresses!

Following the ceremony, the cocktail reception was held around the pool. Mango mocktails (a nod to the dozens of mango trees on the property) were served and guests sipped on local tequila and other spirits while listening to the sounds of modern, popular music on the saxophone!

The reception space was a stunning design – Alayna & Hayden wanted to center their design around the handmade blue tile floors of the reception space. With accents of blues, wicker and of course, disco balls – this was truly a party in the jungle! After a family-style dinner reception, Kilometro Band lit up the dance floor all night as servers walked around with carajillos and homemade mango and lemon-lime paletas to keep the party going!
