There’s no bigger compliment than having a colleague ask you to help plan her wedding! We first met Sydney at Brush Creek Ranch, a luxury property we often do weddings at located in Wyoming. Sydney is the Wine Director at BCR and we have had the pleasure of working with her on several weddings there. When Sydney called to ask if we’d be willing to travel to Palm Springs California for her wedding to her long-time love Adam, our answer was definitely a yes!! Sydney grew up in Palm Springs and had chosen the iconic Twin Palms Estate, Frank Sinatra’s home located there. We were fortunate to work alongside Sydney’s Mom Patti, who lives in Palm Springs, to plan the wedding.
The guests and weekend events outside of the ceremony and reception were centered around Villa Royale, an endlessly hip, eclectic mix of old California architecture, stylish vintage furnishings, stunning artwork, and elevated guest service. It was the perfect place for all of the guests to stay and for us to hold their rehearsal dinner, welcome party and morning after brunch.
Black tie, and make it black was the suggested attire for the day at Frank Sinatra’s mid-century modern home. The guests all wore black and the bridesmaids wore dark hunter green. It was a stunning palate! Brush Creek Ranch wagyu beef was brought in special for their wedding, prepared by local F10 Catering, it was one of the best meals I’ve had at a wedding
Spencer Day provided the ambiance and music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner and it was the perfect choice for Frank’s House, since he sounds like he could be Frank’s son!
It’s now been over a month since we were in Palm Springs celebrating Sydney and Adam and we received the photos back from their photographer Brady Bates Photography and we are in love. We loved working with Brady and feel like he absolutely captured the weekend perfectly!
