Organization & Relocation :: 10 Year Anniversary

We had the joy of helping Sheryl from Organization & Relocation plan her 10 year anniversary party. When she asked us to assist we jumped at the opportunity! Sheryl is a close friend of Calluna’s, in fact she assisted our owner Heather with her move last year and did a fantastic job!

We love celebrating such a big milestone for a local business. Having a business open for 10 years and have it be successful is a big deal to say the least. Which is why we wanted to create the perfect celebration! The party was packed all night with friends and clients coming by to offer their congratulations and toast their success! It was hosted right in Boulder at the local favorite, t/aco. Which means the margaritas, chips, guac, and tacos were free flowing all night! What’s not to love about that?!

Fiori Flowers provided the simple arrangements of Pincushion Protea which tied perfectly into the simple and clean look that Organization & Relocation strive for. And it wouldn’t have been a party if there wasn’t any cake! Jen from Lucky’s Bakehouse provided the cake which was in the shape of Organization & Relocation logo and of course some of those irresistible brownie bites! Yum!

The party was an absolute success and we are so proud of Sheryl and her business! She is truly so good at what she does and we were so happy to be there to help her celebrate the big 10 year!  Here’s to more years to come! Cheers, Calluna xx

Boulder Burgundy Wine Festival Recap

The Boulder Burgundy Festival brought wine aficionados from near and far together to sample, taste, judge and enjoy the wines of the Burgundy region. Calluna Events was thrilled to be invited to plan three of the festival’s key events; all filled wall to wall with guests brimming with passion about wines.

The creator and host of the Burgundy Festival is Master Sommelier and Boulder Wine Merchant owner Brett Zimmerman.  “During this three-day extravaganza we will be able to drink some of the rarest wines of Burgundy due largely in part to the amazing generosity of our supplier partners.”

The three-day celebration of Burgundy wines includes tastings and seminars with winemakers and top U.S. wine directors, as well as wine luncheons and dinners hosted by Boulder’s best restaurants such as Frasca and The Flagstaff House.

Once again Calluna Events was the official organizer and event planner for the Burgundy Seminar with Guillaume d’Angerville of Domaine Marquis d’Angerville, one of Burgundy’s finest estates, the Grand Tasting in the Hotel Boulderado’s fabulous ballroom as well as a Chablis Brunch at the casual, yet elegant The Kitchen Upstairs. The Grand Tasting was a phenomenal experience that brought merchants, importers, sommeliers, trades people, and a host of wine enthusiasts together to taste over 170 different pours. We couldn’t have been more excited to host this event for the Boulder Wine Merchant Boulder Burgundy Festival.

A morning event took place at The Kitchen Upstairs. There we hosted a Sunday morning Chablis Brunch that included 25 different flights of wine paired with an exquisite brunch tasting menu. Although it was less formal than the Grand Tasting, the Chablis Brunch showcased an equally impressive selection of pours.

Thank you Boulder Wine Merchant for trusting us with three of your most important festival events. We were delighted to have a hand in making the Boulder Burgundy Festival such a resounding success.

Roger’s 60th Backyard Birthday

Roger came to Calluna Events three weeks before his 60th Birthday. He needed help planning a party for friends and family at his home in Boulder. Sadly, Roger had lost his wife the previous year. He wanted the party to be an truly special and memorable evening for all his guests.
With the natural beauty of Boulder providing the backdrop, we planned a gorgeous backyard party for him.  A pianist welcomed guests arrived and walked through the entry way. Upon entering the backyard, guests were serenaded by the talented Sergio playing acoustic guitar. With the scenery and music creating the perfect ambiance, guests enjoyed the delicious food catered by GB Culinary Concepts. Great food, music, and friends created the perfect evening Roger came to Calluna looking for. It was a true celebration of life!
