Trends of 2016 Bridal Fashion Week: 3D Florals Please

We won’t lie… When dreaming up wedding dresses for our future weddings we’re pretty convinced it’ll be a scene out of Sex and the City – dozens of couture gowns for our choosing, hair and makeup stylists touching up at our every move, Vogue photographers capturing every effortless (not so candid) movement as our friends swoon on the sidelines ONLY to have one magically appear at our NYC loft.

While we’re still holding onto making that dream a reality, for now we find comfort in counting the days until we can live frivolously and vicariously through the newest Couture collections presented at Bridal Fashion Week!

We loved all of the gowns presented but kept seeing one beautiful trend shinning through : FLORALS! See below for our favorites!

Floral 3D Applique :: It’s always a challenge to find a sweet spot between what is reserved for high fashion and what reception ready. We love inspired designers but are extra intrigued when it’s something we could see ourselves in. The trend of a three dimensional adornment does just that – integrating florals in an feminine way that captures the rising trend while keep classic bridal beauty in mind.
