From Kyle :: K Hodge Films started up in 2009 and has been consistently growing ever since. My wife Erika quit her job as an engineer and hopped on board full time in 2012. Wedding cinematography is a relatively new area of the wedding landscape and when I started the company I wanted to focus on shooting films that told people’s individual stories instead of just focusing on the generic things that make up a “wedding.” We’ve shot all over the world from Alaska to New York City to Stockholm not to mention our usual stomping grounds of Vail and Aspen here in Colorado. We love meeting new couples and listening to their stories and then crafting a way to portray those stories through their wedding film. It’s great fun!
We’ve known Heather for four years now and since the beginning it’s been an awesome relationship. The first wedding I shot with Heather was a day after Erika and I had just had our first baby. I was a little scatter brained to say the least but Heather and the Calluna team were calm and cool as usual and that wedding film ended up being one of our best from that year. The best part about working with Calluna though is that they are actually fun people to be around. That makes all the difference in the world.
