We are so excited to finally work with Plum Sage Flowers this year. We have two weddings scheduled together, one in Boulder at the St. Julien Hotel & Spa and one at the Alpenglow Stube in Keystone. We love Erin’s style & creativity which is fresh, modern and unique. She really takes pride in getting to know her clients and what their vision is for their wedding.
Business Name: Plum Sage Flowers
Years in Business: This is the 4th
Location: We have a design studio in the Highland neighborhood of Denver
Most memorable wedding yet: Joe and mine (it was only last June…..). A fabulous weekend at Devil’s Thumb Ranch filled with peonies.
I love it when a bride & groom: Are truly in love Favorite piece to do for a wedding: The bridal bouquet, dog collars, orchid parasols (a Plum Sage original) and on-site cake decorating My favorite kind of bride is: Excited! Open to ideas and eager to discuss flowers, color and texture.
What sets us apart from other florists: We are a small company that specializes in attentive service and boundless creativity.
Trends we are seeing for 2009: Less of the “required” traditions such as cakes, toss bouquets, and pin-on corsages. More unique concepts that are meaningful or fun to the couple such as lockets (with family member’s photographs) tucked into bouquets, photo booth guest books, or late night grilled cheese for hungry, dancing guests. We are inventing flower brooches and umbrellas and using vintage glassware of all shapes and sizes.
