absolutely unforgettable.
We're calluna

I was thinking back to the things I’ve had to use from the Calluna Events wedding day emergency kit over the years and wanted to share a list of items we’ve used, plus a list of items you might want to have on hand if you don’t have a Day of Coordinator at your wedding.

I came across this cute website where you can purchase your own Wedding Day Emergency Kit, along with kits for other occasions. I actually got the MiniEmergency in my stocking this year! Cute!

Items we’ve actually used at weddings:
Lint brush- we had a groom request one as he walked into the reception from the ceremony
Breath mints – at many wedding
Pain killers
Antacid – for sour stomachs and nervous brides
Tampons
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Dental Floss
Sewing kit with buttons and different colored thread – many times
Make up
Hairspray
Tissues
Deodorant
Bobby pins, clips & hair elastics
Moisturizer/Hand lotion
Eye drops
Stain remover (Tide to go or Oxy) – it’s a shame but we’ve had to use this on several occasions on wedding dresses to get out red wine and other stains
Band-aids
Garment tape – you’d be amazed at the tape we’ve put on people and where
Scissors – we use these at almost every wedding
Extra corsage & boutonniere pins – same thing, inevitably there are pins missing from flowers or we need extras to secure corsages. One wedding guests even brought their own boutonniere and needed a pin from us
Nail file, clippers
Matches or lighter – many, many times
Safety pins
Extra place cards
Flower wire and flower tapes (to fix a bout or make one on the spot)
70 umbrellas – thanks to a past Calluna Events planner and bride we have a stash of umbrellas to protect our clients from all the elements.
