Today’s blog features the very special Lana’s Shop, of Denver, CO. Lana is a wonderfully creative and unique illustrator that produces such lovely work that always brings a smile to our faces. Heather, from Calluna Events, was the first person I met in the wedding industry when I moved to Colorado two years ago. I had designed a wedding menu for a friend, and Calluna was the planner behind the big day. The wedding was without doubt the prettiest, most “them”, jaw dropping event ever. Right after, I set up a lunch date to meet the mastermind behind it. Since then Heather and I have been collaborating and I feel like the luckiest illustrator ever.
Calluna seems to attract these amazing couples. I have created invitation sets now for a number of their clients, and each one has become special to me. Lana’s Shop was born out of my love for beautiful paper, whimsy designs, and my desire to bring custom artwork to people in a way that really represents who they are. Each save the date, invitation, program, thank you note…..is hand painted, printed locally and packaged with care. My goal is to make the couple smile and look back on their paper goods with delight.
I adore Calluna so much, that they are now planning my wedding this Fall!! Looking forward to a long wonderful working relationship with Calluna ladies and to meeting you all.
