Planning this wedding was near and dear to my heart because I had my wedding at the Canyon House. Helping Heidi + Wayne plan their wedding and to see these images brought back so many memories. Heidi and Wayne were such a pleasure to work with! They knew exactly what they wanted (and didn’t want) for their wedding and we love when our brides have a vision for their day! We absolutely loved Heidi’s style and vision too. Heidi, like me when I was planning my wedding at the Canyon House, really wanted the natural beauty of the private residence to shine through; however she loved the modern aesthetic (also like me) running through the house and exterior and wanted to emphasize that in more modern decor, furniture and lighting.

Their reception vision was a cocktail style reception with lounge seating, cocktail tables and an informal vibe where guests were encouraged to eat, mingle and relax. We worked with By Design Event Decor to create pockets of lounge furniture and coffee tables intermixed with cocktail tables and worked to create food stations with Catering by Design which showcased inventive food that was also conducive to mingling and not sitting at a table to eat.

Heidi was absolutely stunning on the day and we were honored to help them create the wedding of their dreams!
