  • What do you do to relax after a wedding is over?

Take a shower, then lay in bed an scroll through IG

  • What do you like to do when you’re not planning weddings?

Spend time with my husband Max and yellow lab puppy Seamus.

  • Did you plan your own wedding?

Yes, but with the help of Heather and the Calluna Events team!

  • What is something you have seen at a wedding that you absolutely loved?

I loved everything about Brett and Ryan’s winter wedding ceremony. The candles, fur, fireplace, lit trees. It was so intimate, cozy and magical.

  • What is your favorite part of the planning process?

I love the logistics of the planning process – the challenge and complexity of adapting the planning process to each event, and bringing all the detailed pieces together.

  • What is your favorite reception song?

Earth, Wind, Fire – September

  • Favorite flower?

Peony!

  • Favorite dress designer?

So hard to choose one favorite, but I am partial to Liancarlo who designed my wedding gown.

  • What is some advice you would give couples planning their own wedding?

Choose the few things that are really important to you (photos, music, decor) and be flexible about the other details. You’ll never be able to please everyone, and trying to accommodate others likes and expectations will make the whole process daunting. Make your day about you!
