Once a year, fashion celebrates its biggest night at the Oscars! This year, we were so fortunate to celebrate with a completely custom Oscar Party, generously hosted by the fabulous Liz Finkelstein, Owner + Personal Stylist at Mile High Style and Boulder’s finest establishment, Frasca Food and Wine.
Calluna Events assisted with this hopefully-now-annual celebration and we LOVED seeing everyone dressed to the nines in the middle of winter, during Colorado’s biggest blizzard of the year!
We wanted to share some of our very amateur photos and will post the professional photos from COUTUREcolorado as soon as we can!
Heather + Jolene of Calluna Events headed over to Brighter Day Floral Design for a lesson in flower arranging from the pros, Lynn + Kitzel.
A glimpse of the weather the day of the big event…
And from white weather to white flowers…Here are our favorite white flowers of the moment that we used to create the centerpieces…. Dahlias, roses, ranunculus, hydrangeas, anemones, and the luxe phalaenopsis.

Then, the pre-party hair + make-up styling. Liz had the ever-so-charming Sally from Alchemy Mineral Blends come over to glam her up Mile High Style!
And the Event took shape. Here is finished product…

And, a vintage popcorn machine, courtesy of RC Special Events. We bought our own black-and-white popcorn boxes to add to the upscale, glamorous theme!

And, as guests left, they each got their own Oscar gift bag, with a TON of goodies from all of our favorite local hot spots (see credits below).
