Every year, we sit down to write our end of year recap and we can’t imagine it could be better than the last recap but it always is. We are grateful for the work we are able to do each and every day for our clients and with the incredibly talented wedding & event community in Colorado. We are continually inspired, challenged, and motivated to do incredible things and be the best we can be!

Once again we are thrilled to say we have more events on the books than ever before going into the New Year, and a couple weddings booked for 2017 even. We also have some exciting things planned for 2016! We can’t wait to share! 2015 marked our 12th year in business and we are humbled and ever so grateful that we continue to be a part of the wonderful world of events.

Happy anniversary Lauren & Brad

Wishing Lauren and Brad a happy first anniversary! One year ago, on July 12th, Lauren and Brad were the first couple married at the new High Lonesome Lodge at Devils Thumb Ranch, exchanging vows under the gorgeous Colorado skies. The two tastefully incorporated their passion throughout the weekend by adding cannabis into elements of decor and floral design. Complete with a hookah lounge and slow motion photo booth, this wedding was curated exclusively to fit the vision of Lauren and Brad. We are so happy to have played a role in their day, and as always, can’t thank our incredible vendors enough for working together to throw a great party. Jandee + BJ’s sweet Estes Park Summer Wedding

This sweet couple stole our hearts from the minute we started working with them! We worked with them long distance to plan their Colorado mountain wedding and met only a handful of times over the course of over a year of planning. We felt like we really got to know the two of them, so on their wedding day it was like watching two friends tie the knot.

Their ceremony took place with a panorama of the most stunning views of Lumpy Ridge, Rocky Mountain National Park behind them on the Black Canyon Inn property. Jandee’s aunt married them in the most touching ceremony. The reception followed at the Twin Owls Steakhouse is an award winning restaurant in a charming log cabin built in the 1920’s. This original homestead is on the Black Canyon Inn property.

We loved Jandee’s choice of a summery color palate – she started with yellow, teal and gray and Fiori flowers adding in pops of orange and pink to provide a little interest and variety. Gray linens lighted up the dark woods of the room and created a lovely focal point for the teal antique glass vases. We brought in Chairished (now Yonder Floral + Design) to provide a lovely seating vignette for the cocktail hour as well as strung market lights and a few small decor pieces.

The dessert bar from Shamane’s Bake Shoppe featured a small cutting cake and other favorites. However it was the overflowing traditional (groom’s side) cookie bar that was the hit . Family members, as well as Shamane’s, provided literally hundreds of cookies. This was the first time we saw this Pennsylvania wedding tradition and we have to be honest – we like whoever came up with that idea!

Kelly and David’s Timber Ridge Keystone wedding

Kelly and David were married on a textbook Colorado day complete with sun, wind, rain and a little snow alongside stunning Rocky Mountain views. Up a breathtaking gondola ride to the top of Keystone’s North Peak, guests watched Kelly and David exchange vows against the spectacular view from the Timber Ridge deck. This charming celebration was full of love, warmth, fun mountain inspired details and the perfect pop of color. Thank you to The Willinghams for the beautiful images below.

Jennifer + Matt’s Snowy Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding

Jennifer and Matt are that special Colorado couple that go together like bread and butter.

They had always envisioned a wintry wonderland wedding and a wintry wonderland is what they got….with some snow to spare. The bride and groom spent the morning of their wedding snowboarding together, hours before they walked down the aisle.

The skies opened up and guests were able to enjoy the view and breathtaking surroundings during the ceremony and cocktail hour at Devil’s Thumb Ranch, before moving into the beautiful Broad Axe Barn for dinner. The fire crackled, the drinks were poured, and the couple celebrated their love into the wee hours with a packed dance floor!

Sloan + Michael:: Effortless Elegance at Estes Park

Stunning mountain views, authentic rustic touches, blended love between Mormon and Jewish families, hilarious wedding speeches and a surprise serenade of Brown Eyed Girl from the bride’s youngest brother …. If you ask us, this wedding was pretty dang near perfect. We loved working with such a talented team of vendors at MacGregor Ranch and hope we can go back soon! Congrats Sloan and Michael!!
