Thanks Julie!

4. Most memorable wedding…

Weddings are so full of surprises, and I think that is what makes each one so unique. As a photographer, I love when something a bit unexpected happens because usually it makes for incredible photographs. At a wedding t his fall, it snowed a bunch during the ceremony. When we exited the church, the landscape was transformed and we were able to capture some beautiful shots of the bride and groom playing in the snow. It wasn’t what the couple had planned, but in the end they loved the results!

5. I love it when a Bride and Groom are…
playful and affectionate

6. Favorite part of a wedding…
Oh I have so many! The first glance when the couple see each other for the first time is so emotional. I love when this moment is private and happens before the ceremony because it allows the couple to really take it in.

7. Our favorite kind of bride is…
not afraid to show a bit of flair! We love a great pair of yellow wedding shoes or a big flower in the hair…anything that brings some personal style to the photographs.

8. What sets us apart from other wedding photographers is…
our relationship with our clients. It is truly our pleasure to be invited to photograph such a special event in people’s lives. We love the chance to get to know our couples and customize the photography to fit their unique style.

9. Trends we are seeing for 2010…
Playful engagement shoots and Day After sessions that really showcase the personality of the couple. In chatting with one of my 2010 couples, I discovered that the groom was really into wine so we arranged to take engagement portraits at a favorite wine bar in downtown denver. My couples really want their photos to represent who they are and not look generic.

10. One tip for getting great photos on a budget is…
make sure your digital negatives are included in your package so that you can make your own prints.
